With a national and international reputation, The Drill Hall is the local theatre and arts centre for Bloomsbury and Fitzrovia in London's West End.
Since 1975, The Drill Hall has produced, developed, nurtured and supported over 10,000 artists and productions.
We have toured award-winning shows and events all over the UK, Europe, Australia and the USA.
Through our highly praised education programme we tackle homophobia and bullying and tour to schools, work with teachers, run youth theatres specifically for LGBT young people and have an artist development programme.
Our community theatre troupe, The Drill Hall Darlings, is now in its third year.
It always welcomes new members and will be performing at The Drill Hall in December 2009.
We have a wide-ranging workshop programme, a free drop-in for local children under five and their families, and a programme of shows and storytelling for the 7-11s.
The Drill Hall is a major hub for the arts and media communities, providing some of the most sought after central London rehearsal facilities and radio and television recording spaces.
We also offer low-cost meeting space for local community groups.
We are funded by London Councils and Camden Council and very grateful we are to them for this support.
Extraordinarily, for every £1 of public subsidy we receive, we earn another £5.50 - not bad for an off-West End theatre and arts centre.
Still, we welcome sponsors and donations: if there is a project you would like to donate to or sponsor, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Do come and find us: we are just off Tottenham Court Road, two minutes' walk from Goodge Street tube station, and less than 10 minutes' walk from Warren Street tube, Russell Square tube and Euston stations.
